Most family photographs posted here are from the mid-19th century and later. Some of them display the names of Irish photography studios in Dublin, Cork, or Limerick. Others originated at studios in New York City and Illinois.
This selection from many preserved 19th century family photographs includes only a few in which we can identify the individuals. That leaves dozens of others for guesswork, and the question marks in the photo titles represent guesses. Information about the photos is always welcome: mailto:maryc
